The “Arheologika” association – supported by the Macedonian Ministry of Culture and the Vinica City Museum – announces an exhibition of photographs of current archaeological works, titled “Archaeology in progress”.

The exhibition consists of 30 photographs taken during archaeological research on domestic and foreign excavation sites. “Arheologika” aims to promote the process of archaeological research to a wider audience – one might say, just on time, as the profession experiences a certain process of vulgarisation of serious archaeological work and is in danger of being identified only through elements of pop culture.

The visitors will also have the opportunity to watch several short documentaries pertaining to archaeological research sites in Macedonia.
