We have just been informed that Vasilka Dimitrovska, creative director of HAEMUS received a grant from UNESCO, as part of the “Culture and Creativity for the Western Balkans” (CC4WBs) program, funded by the European Union. The program aims to improve dialogue in the Western Balkans by strengthening the cultural and creative sector and developing its potential for socioeconomic impact in the region.

As certified interpretive trainer she will be conducting a comprehensive training on interpretation, gamification, and storytelling with the local community in Durrës (Albania), where she will be hosted by our colleagues from the organization MuzehLab. Participation in the event ‘Reviving Via Egnatia: Heritage-Based Interpretation, Storytelling, and Gamification’ will bring significant benefits to both HAEMUS as an organization and the broader professional community. The advanced skills in heritage interpretation, storytelling, and gamification that Ms. Dimitrovska will acquire during this training will enhance our projects, making them more engaging and educational. This, in turn, will enable us to develop new gamified products that attract a wider audience and create new revenue streams, contributing to our economic sustainability

Many thanks also to Interpret Europe for their wholehearted support regarding this grant.
