XXXVI Annual Meeting of the Serbian Archaeological Society

Dear colleagues,
XXVI Annual meeting of the Serbian archaeological society will be held in Novi Sad in Vojvodina Museum from 30 May to 1 June 2013. The following thematic sessions are suggested for the participants:
Archaeotechnology: studying technology from prehistory to the Middle Ages (session convenors: Selena Vitezović and Dragana Antonović)
Reconstructing prehistoric food sources and food habits: procurement,preparation and presentation of food in the Neolithic Balkans (session convenors: Dragana Filipović, Selena Vitezović, David Orton)
The first millennium of Christianity – archaeological findings (session convenors: Dejan Radičević)
RECONSTRUCTING PREHISTORIC FOOD SOURCES
SAS especially welcome papers/posters from students, as well as non-archaeologists who can provide insights into the session theme. If you submit paper, you will be informed by email whether your submission has been accepted. Registration for the conference will open shortly afterwards. Accepted abstracts will be included in the SAS 2013 Book of Abstracts.
The languages of the meeting are English and Serbian.
Oral presentations should be no longer than 15 minutes plus 5 minutes for discussion.
