    Kokino, an archaeological site from Bronze Age period and a prehistoric archaeo-astronomical observatory gain the attention of scientists and media since the moment it was discovered in 2001. Archaeologically tested and astronomically proved, this advanced community which settled Kokino around 1800 BC, used very complicated mathematical equations for observing the sky and the celestial phenomena.     On November 25, 2015, the exhibition dedicated to the First World War in the Balkans was opened at the Muzeul Judetean Buzau/ Buzau County Museum. The exhibition was organized in collaboration with the French Embassy in Romania, 2nd Infantry Division Getica, French Cultural Institute of the Republic of Macedonia, Marshal Alexandru Averescu Foundation, French Cultural Centre of Buzau and HAEMUS – Center for scientific research and promotion of the culture (Republic of Macedonia).     From 8-12 November 2014 HAEMUS will be part of the event in Baku, Azerbaijan, entitle ‘Days of Macedonian cultural heritage‘. The folklore group “Drimkol” from Vevchani will have their performance, 3 short ethnological films will be displayed, there will be lectures, and an exhibition of photographs that will hang on the walls of the hall where the event will take place.     ARTE.tv the German/French production was shooting documentary about the Macedonian cultural heritage and Haemus took part in it. The filming took place on June 11th 2014 at the archaeological site Stobi, which is open air museum open all the year around and National Institution which works at preserving the cultural heritage of the region.
